New September Record, Best Month Ever for Outback

  • Subaru's 2015 Outback bests last month's milestone, making September its highest month of sales ever with 936 vehicles sold, an increase of 70.8 percent over the same time last year.



(MISSISSAUGA) - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) today announced nine months of consecutive milestones as benchmark results toppled previous sales again this September. Subaru Canada retailed 3,807 units this month, an increase of 15.0 percent. Third-quarter results were up by 12.0 percent as well, marking a 15.7 percent increase in year-to-date sales. With momentum this strong, Subaru Canada is well on its way to making 2014 the best year in the company's history.





The brand new 2015 Subaru Outback brought record numbers of Canadians into Subaru showrooms as sales soared with 936 units retailed, a staggering increase of 70.8 percent. This achievement solidifies September as the highest month of Outback sales in company history, besting the previous record set just last month by 6.0 percent. September sales also marked a new record for Subaru's XV Crosstrek with an increase of 17.3 percent over the same period last year and 672 units sold. Sales of the new 2015 Subaru Legacy and 2015 Subaru WRX STI line also rose over last September with increases of 31.4 and 13.2 percent, respectively.



Sales success was shared from east to west as September sales increased by 8.0 percent in the Atlantic region, 11.3 percent in Quebec, 23.0 percent in Ontario and 11.7 percent in the Western region, respectively.
